Greg Buscetto joined CerpassRx as the Chief Executive Officer in 2016, bringing more than 34 years of experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), managed healthcare, healthcare information technology and mergers and acquisitions. As the Chief Executive Officer of CerpassRx, Greg is responsible for the overall strategic direction and guidance for CerpassRx, including all functional areas. In addition, Greg is one of the two management representatives on CerpassRx’ Board of Directors.
Greg has spent over 16 years focusing his career in PBM, beginning in 2001 with ProCare Rx, a privately held PBM in Duluth Georgia, where he held various senior level positions during his six year tenure. Greg guided the company from a claims processor to a PBM with 12 million lives, departing in 2007 as Chief Operating Officer. In 2007, Greg joined SXC HealthSolutions (now OptumRx) as Senior Vice President and General Manager where he transformed the company from a claims processor to the fourth largest PBM in the country, departing in early 2014 as Segment President of Strategic Solutions in early. In 2014, Greg founded Leading Business Consultants in Braselton, Georgia, serving clients in the healthcare industry with strategic projects mergers and acquisitions and other transactions, as well as payor enhancement programs.
Greg holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a minor in Computer Science from Indiana State University. He is a proud husband of over 20 years and a father of three. In his spare time, Greg and his wife enjoy traveling, scuba diving, boating and working out.
