David Fein joined CerpassRx as Senior Vice President of Technical Operations in July of 2016. David has more than 15 years of Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) experience. His primary responsibilities include leadership and execution of the CerpassRx platform, corporate operations, accounting, benefit administration, sales administration, data analytics and reporting.
Prior to joining CerpassRx, David held several key positions during his five year tenure at Catamaran (now OptumRx), including the Industry Relations and Network Analytics team, and later as Vice President of Industry Relations. David spent eight years early on in his career with CVS Caremark leading the Employer Client Analytics group and Retail Analytics team, providing greater insight into drug spend and financial performance.
Two of David’s top achievements include becoming a published journal author and being a member of the team that discovered the top quark at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. David has a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Grinnell College in Iowa and a PhD in Experimental High Energy Particle Physics from the University of Arizona.
David has been married to his wife for over 16 years and is the proud father of two sons. Outside of the office, he enjoys bike riding, camping and traveling with his family.
