Dr. John Nicolosi joined CerpassRx as Chief Clinical Officer in July of 2016. With over 12 years’ experience in the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) industry, John oversees the Clinical, Account Management, Marketing and Implementation departments. As Senior Vice President of Account Services and Chief Clinical Officer, John manages the development and execution of CerpassRx clinical solutions, ensures partnerships are established to achieve 100% client satisfaction and renewal, delivers innovative and member-centric messages to our audience and partners with clients to outline the architecture necessary to optimize and build a successful pharmacy benefit.
Prior to joining CerpassRx, John held several key positions during his eight year tenure at OptumRx, including Clinical Consultant, Supervisor of Clinical Operations and Director of Account Management, where he was responsible for client growth, retention, service and strategic planning. Before OptumRx, John worked in the healthcare industry for five years in various roles at retail pharmacies and health systems.
John holds a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Illinois, where he graduated with honors. He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Midwestern University, where he graduated with the prestigious Magna Cum Laude honor. He is also an active member of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy.
John is a husband and proud father of two wonderful children. In his spare time, John enjoys watching movies, reading books, staying active and cheering on his favorite football team, the Chicago Bears.
